ADHD assessment: a comprehensive and individualized process
We offer specialized ADHD assessments for adults. The process is comprehensive and personalized to ensure an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
A complete ADHD assessment includes:
Collection of background information
Diagnostic interviews
Standardized questionnaires
Collection of collateral information (from family members or the academic/work environment)
Assessment of somatic (physical) conditions
The total time required for an ADHD assessment is at least 22 hours, including preparation and report writing. The duration may vary depending on the complexity of symptoms, the amount of background information, and the necessary tests.
If the diagnosis is confirmed, the need for medication will be evaluated; this typically requires an additional 4 to 6 hours.
Note: An ADHD diagnosis does not automatically entitle a person to pharmacological treatment.
